Eligibility Checker

Not sure if your matter qualifies? Review the criteria below. If your matter meets all of the eligible criteria and none of the ineligible criteria, you can proceed to lodge a claim.

If you are unsure, contact our office and a case officer will be happy to assist you.

Contact us for guidance

✓ Your matter may be eligible if:

  • Claim value up to $500,000
  • Dispute involves a contract, consumer matter, property damage, or debt
  • Matter has not been decided by a court
  • Claim lodged within 3 years of the dispute arising

✗ Your matter is not eligible if it involves:

  • Criminal matters
  • Employment disputes (refer to Fair Work Commission)
  • Family law matters
  • Claims exceeding $500,000
